Saw a vid and didnt look into it, but guy says can legally ccw in CA at anytime as long as u got a hunting or fishing license and traveling to or engaged in activity. Gun cannot be loaded though.
So carry fishing pole at all times and copy of code.

if the court doesn't agree with your legal reasoning, just know that the statutory minimum penalty for unlawful carrying is 3 months.
i can tell you that an appeals court will not hear your case before you finish your 3-month sentence and you will likely pay over $5k for a decent criminal defense attorney.

Not dumb enough to try it and i dont plan o n going to CA anytime soon anyways.
