Title: Eley or Lapua 22LR
Post by: smg1231 on September 20, 2019, 04:29:07 PM: Aloha! I just moved back to Oahu a few weeks ago. Do any of you guys know where I can pick up some Eley Tenex, Lapua Center-X, or other match 22LR ammo? Thanks in advance!

Most of the LGS sell cheap bulk stuff. If you want the higher end stuff, best to order. CMP is a good option.. Check the gun show coming up. Visit Kaleo Arms. They may have some decent stuff.

Post by: Falken Hawke on September 20, 2019, 09:47:01 PM: I've seen limited quantities of Lapua in Windward Gun Shop but don't recall which one(s). I recall Security Equipment Corp. mentioning they had Match ammo a few years ago but I don't think it was anything more than Federal.

I've had to order Eley, I haven't seen it locally, ever.

If you ask the RSO's at Koko Head, they should be able to point you to a few precision shooters on the weekends. If I recall, once in a while they all order ammo together so they can divide shipping. I might be mixing them up but it would be good to talk to them anyway if they're into precision shooting.
