Not particularly a fan of NBA, but I always respected Kobe, even moreso after he retired.  Seems like a miscommunication in bad weather is one of the main things that happened.  Sad. . .  :(

I respect him for his ability to come back from several injuries during his career some pretty major ones, and his competitive attitude.  like him or not, the guy was a winner
