My Rep, Dale Kobayashi says he voted against but it looks like it is still going forward.

Kobayashi surprised us with his no vote a couple weeks ago.   It's good that we got his support and that he wrote you back.

The House is really pushing these bills very hard and rushing them through.  They will have a victory celebration and make headlines in the news if passed.  Hopefully we can stall it in the house vote or stop it in the Senate committees

I emailed Mark Nakashima (District 1 Big island) on all gun bills, He wrote back basically saying "Blow off".
I then sent a snail mail response.
Thanking him for his attempt at a response and
I finished with
"Molon Labe".

You simply cannot talk to Democrats these days.
I suggest Y'all prepare for the worst.

The Leutenant governor works in a hospital about 300 yards from my clinic and he does not even respond to emails about state politics questions.  He had the same lobotomy they give all the politicians when they are elected.

Three words:

WILL NOT COMPLY.

I mean, of course, that's what I'd say if I had any such deadly dangerous magazines, which I don't.

My response to My representative critter.

Honorable Representative Nakashima,

I recently emailed you on gun controls and my opposition to them.
I enclosed a copy in the event your intern lost the original.
I’m very impressed that you took the time to respond in writing.

I remember you once submitted a change I requested to concealed
carry law from “May” to “Shall” issue.  I suppose I never thanked you for that,
however in hindsight you knew it would never get a committee hearing, so
it was no threat and you would have a happy voter.

Reading your latest response to my opposition to the horrible laws that
are continued to be proposed in a state that has virtually no gun violence
is very upsetting.

My response to you is now

Molon labe

Thank you for your time.

got an email from HRA.
The time to contact your reps is NOW!
Call them. Visit them.
Because if you don't all the firearms related purchases you have made or wish to make may be all moot.

Not sure if this helps, but it describes all the opportunities to provide testimony for the committee and readings for each active bill, including the 2 hunting related ones at the end.

Best I can explain it since people are getting confused on how many times and which bills they have to testify on.  Any suggestions welcome
