How do you know when you have hurt a snowflake's feelings?  How do you categorize someone as a snowflake?

The first one can be a simple "when the wind changes directions". . . but I'm starting this thread about something that happened yesterday and got me wondering are they really that bad?  Like WTF!  As well as I'm sure this will have entertaining value in the responses, which would be a welcome distraction from the BS going on around us (politics, corruption, rising crime, :gah:)

Anyways, I pretty much never get into arguments on FB.  NOT worth my time or sanity.  When I do comment, it's always to a friend and usually in a joking, ball busting, etc manner.  So a friend posts an article about something and I post a typical smartass comment.  His snowflake friend replies something to the effect of "being technically" the same and includes a  ::) 

Normally I would like WTF ever and ignored, but the "technically" and  ::) fired me up.  And if I don't know you and you wanna jump in a convo with a friend of mine with a  ::) , you better be correct, or it's GAME ON.  Well, find out she's maybe a couple years out of HS, grad from a local HS that has lots of privileged snowflakes and is currently "interested" in getting into the medical field (i.e. think they know stuff, but really don't know shit).  I post follow-up joking comment to my friend, but include a "but seriously, there's an actual difference" and included a real life example.  Well, snowflake proceeded to give me a  :grrr: reaction and then deleted her previous comments. . .  :rofl:

Ahh, snowflakes.  Think they know everything about the world, but when they find out that they don't, they can't handle it. . .

That Facef*ck thing sure seems to be a very strange place.  Avoided it and all social media, do not like people enough to want to get into that cesspool.

Wife does FB, and claims it is only to keep up with friends and family.  Claims to stay out of political stuff, but admits liberals are constantly trying to taint everything with it.

I would categorize a snow flake as anyone who can't debate based on the merits or demerits of an argument and gets upset emotionally. If the thing being argued is a matter of fact then the argument is either correct or incorrect, no need for emotion.
