BATF allows drive up gun sales. Our local shops should do that.
Hire some out-of-work Hooters girls to go out to the cars.
Maybe allow drive up drive up gun permits and registrations too.
Liberal Democrat heads would be exploding in outrage.

Well, local liquor commish is allowing pickup sales of alcohol. I've "benefitted" from that a few times already. The growlers with local breweries are also getting quite (or more) popular.

I have a Marlin XL7 with custom Boyd’s stock in 30-06 and ammo for it I can let you have for a reasonable price.

Seriously, though. If JC or anybody wants to buy a bunch of guns and ammo during "normal" times, then sell them for more than whatever the "normal" price WAS (past tense) during a panic, that's HIS investment and HIS prerogative.
Nobody is required to sell anything when there's a shortage. RETAIL prices increase due to high demand and low supply. That's called "a free market". Private sales are not retail. Sometimes you get a good deal, and other times the seller is asking more than you think the item is worth. Both are free to accept OR REJECT the asking price/counter-offer.
If the buyer didn't plan ahead and buy at "normal" prices, that's nobody's fault but his own. Nobody is entitled to guns or ammo at "normal" prices from the ones who paid full retail months or years ago. You don't have a gun to your head forcing you to buy anything. If you don't like the price, move on and look elsewhere. Or you can try to negotiate a price or trade that better suits you. Insults and attempts at shaming are not going to get the price lowered. It'll probably just ensure you NEVER get ANYTHING from ANYONE at ANY PRICE in the classifieds. Nobody wants to deal with an entitled brat.
