That's much less subtle than I expected this early after the VP announcement.
Glad they are effectively running Harris now over Biden. By the time the convention selects the nominees, Harris may be at the top of the ticket ... :popcorn:

It’s great news for gun rights I suppose since they pretty much just handed Trump the election. I just wish ammo prices would go back to normal, but not likely to happen until we see what kind of crazy happens in November

All things serious this one is a head scratcher for me. Why would they pick her? Tulsi nuked her during the primaries and she’s basically a black Hillary Clinton. They can’t be this dumb can they? They must have somethIng up their sleeves.

The environment is different now. We live in a pandemic, there were protests then riots.

My guess is they picked her because she's going to be a great fund raiser. She did really well raising fund for her primary campaign. Her big downfall is her campaign was run poorly.
She reportedly raised over $2M for Biden's campaign before the VP announcement. She raised over $22M between 2015 and 2020 for her own campaigning.
They might not win, but they'll sheer as many Dem $heep along the way as they can.

Until the convention names the nominees, anything is possible.
If Harris is the Presidential nominee, and Joe the VP, it would satisfy the "He's too old" anti-Biden voters. It would also effectively allow the Party leaders to bypass the entire Primary process (like they pretty much did with Clinton and Bernie) and simply pick their favorite as the Presidential nominee.
I bet the others who lost in the Primaries will be ROYALLY PISSED if Harris is the nominee after she was one of the earliest drop-outs -- didn't even make it to the Primaries. Only 7 candidates survived to participate in the Primaries. if the Party is going to choose someone at the last minute -- someone who never made the Primaries -- it'll turn off those who aren't already turned off of the Party after the 2016 debacle.

Jamie Lee Curtis tweeted that Trump supporters are literally stealing USPS mail delivery trucks to make sure Trump wins in Nov by depriving voters of their right to have their votes counted (no trucks, no ballot pickup or delivery).
The only question we really have is to what DEGREE will their insanity reach in their quest to keep Trump from winning?

Well that didnt take long
They wouldn't do that cause Harris wouldn't win against Trump. Too many people opposed to her and Democrat voters would rebel. Far more likely is Biden would just step down in his first term at let Harris take over. If Biden is too stubborn to do that, Harris would deem him unfit and take over.

my worry is that Trump supporters will be so overconfident that many will neglect to vote, counting on "the other guys to cast their votes". The wrong-last-time polls for the electoral votes, updated to current times, do not paint a pretty picture for a Trump election. Seriously. it's still scary. Gun owners need to be worried shitless to get off their asses and actually cast their votes, not complacent and confident.
ballot harvesting, container loads of Dem votes mysteriously appearing at the last minute, illegals possibly (accidentally) voting, a whole lot of malicious voter and voting mischief going on.
