Title: FFL transfer
Post by: hocuz77 on August 12, 2020, 06:14:10 PM
Anyone recommend a FFL that should get business?  I don't mind paying 5 to 10 more for good service.  Just tried KGS and that dude is grouchy AF.  I rather give my business to owners who actually try and don't treat customers  like they doing favors. :shaka:

Danger Close Tactical is good and doesn't charge an outrageous amount, and he'll bring the price down a bit if you're military as well

I think around $35-40, it's been a while though so I don't remember exactly how much it was

I should have requested an estimate before having it sent there, he charged me $50 for a Glock Frame.  Ironically that's twice what Daniel would have charged me @ KGS, I've had good experiences there but I live in town and DCT was closer.

Wow 50 is pricey,  but I would rather pay double for customer service.  If it was 100 everywhere else  then I would take some sassyness....lol

He was really cool, even inquired about his wife's Christmas baskets for my office.

+1 for Devin at Bushido. Flat out great guy, staunch supporter of 2a and puts in a lot of hours for 2a rights in Hawaii, and more.

I use John Orr in Kailua. $25 for transfers. Daniel was rough around the edges the first couple of times I went in, but cool afterwards.

Brent Hamasaki. Good guy, known him for years. I think he charges $25-30, but don't quote me.

Google "Brent Hamasaki FFL" and his # will show up.
