I got this from my kid in the NG. He is especially stoked about the Jap Zero.

Saw what appeared to be a Hellcat the other day. Amazing. I'm sure they aren't flying at top speed, but the speeds these planes fly, the pilots had balls made of solid brass. Respect to the greatest generation on all sides.

Looking at the saturday flight plan, it lloks like they are flying almost directly over my house at 10:05
Yesterday there were 2 marine choppers flying really low and close to my house.
I think they were just scouting the path, so I put the safety back on and went back in the house.

I counted 6 if the bi Plane was supposed to be last.
But I missed the first few. Didn't see the zero, hopefully I just missed it
They are not all on the same flight path.
The 2 Catalina at the end were on a different line
This was in kunia

Apparently the path was right over my house so some were on the left and some were on the right so I was running around listening for the sounds.
I don't think they all flew either. They had clearance to fly lower but stayed pretty high up.

Saw the flyover today as I was running errands PC-Ewa side. Saw the B-25 and the Catalina. Pretty cool. I’ve always been interesting in those bombers. They were flying right over H-1, just before the merge, directly over as I was headed back to PC. Lots of people at Waikele and along the freeway taking notice. All great, except for those slowing down on the freeway to get a better looks as the planes flew over.

I had a pretty good view of the flyover, my employers actually encouraged us to take a short break and check it out. The Murphy cruise was pretty cool too(the biggest flag i've ever seen). An old salty chief (ret) told me that the Mitchell bomber was one of the actual planes that was supposed to fly in the Doolittle raid. It couldn't take off due to mechanical problems from the salt air on the carrier deck.
