I don't know what to believe here. If it were just CNN reporting the story then I would be highly skeptical but even Fox news was reporting it which gives the allegation a bit more credibility.
Who knows though, comes down to a he-said she-said. I could believe Trump made such a comment though, he has made other comments disrespectful to the military before.

An unnamed, anonymous source said that Trump said something bad about vets and soldiers TWO YEARS ago?

The Atlantic editor now backs down as his story is challenged. He even admits the evidence being produced after his article published is more accurate than his anonymously sourced accusations that Trump lied.
But, we all knew that would turn out to be the case.

No. It doesn't come down to "he said, she said".
You admitted you are willing to believe Trump made a comment, even though people who were with him have said that never happened. The evidence from official documentation showing the helicopter was grounded due to weather, and the Secret Service can't feasibly change the President's itinerary to ground transportation.
Most of us know Trump is a supporter of the military, and in particular wounded and killed members. He gives real, honest respect to them whenever possible. To use this particular issue to attack him just makes Trump supporters even more determined to get out and vote for him.
Anyone who trusts "anonymous" sources telling bad things about Trump should have learned by now that if the bad things really happened, the people desiring to expose those things would be writing a book about it to make money or secretly giving the details to Adam Schiff.

The "source" in question has a history of lying about Trump. The company's owner has TDS. Do some research.
Given their track record, and the fact that official documentation disproves most of their accusations, I'd say I have more to support my opinion than "source".

"I didn't hear it" doesn't mean he didn't say it plus I apply the same skepticism to an anonymous source as I do to a Trump staffer. You don't think a Trump staffer has reason to lie as well?

Anonymous doesn't mean anonymous to the journalist in most cases, it just means anonymous to you and me. A good journalist vets their sources.

Straw man. I never said I trusted one report over the other. I pointed out that you are trusting a Trump employee while ignoring the bias there. You only identify bias when it helps your side, you do it all the time. This is just another example how you consistently fail to be objective. Then when I point that out you claim TDS, you behave like a liberal.
I notice how you applied the same level of skepticism about anonymous whistleblower on your posting of the democrat whistleblower on voter fraud as you do to the whistleblower here.... Oh wait, you didn't, you reposted that article readily with no worry it was made by an anonymous person.
