Hi guys,
Mayor announced today that the Koko Head Shooting Range & Archery Range can re-open on September 24, 2020.
· Rifle & Pistol Ranges: Operations will be “walk up”, first come first served. Just like it was before. Groups must be limited to 5 persons or less, masks are mandatory and social distance. No permits allowed till “tier 3” is reached.
· Skeet & Trap Ranges: Operations as per usual. All permits that were issued are void, until “tier 3” is reached. Probably in a couple of months.
· Metallic Silhouette Range: to remain closed until further notice.
· Action Ranges: since these ranges are by permit only. They will have to wait until “tier 3” is reached. Whoever owns those trailers need to move them out of the facility!
· Archery Range: open sun up to sun down. Groups limited to 5 persons or less.
Masks are mandatory and practice social distancing.
See you guys soon!
Aloha,
Mike Muramoto

Instead of going to the range, we aught to be firing every one of them. Playing you like chumps. Give you a carrot, you pull their chariot..

Also, who's fucking crap is being stored at the range? Get that that fucken bullshit out of there before all the clubs lose our shooting time!
Wake the fuck up!

Kirks orders never closed the range. It was left up to dept parks and rec. They decided to close the range.

Of course they are! The only thing reliable and consistent from the Democrats is stupidity girded by willful ignorance.

Talked with my friend in California yesterday and he said all ammo is sold out where he lives. Makes me want to conserve a bit, but then again my AKM is way too clean which is really unnerving.

Kokohead range at full capacity at 11:45. Waiting list in effect.

3. Shooting and archery ranges. Operators must not offer equipment for rental and must use disposable safety equipment (e.g., ear plugs, safety glasses). :wtf:
Toss your $55 Leight's Impacts, ESS and Oakly's

I need to sight in a few rifles and I hope it’s not too crazy this weekend🤞

I got there at 1115. I was 2nd on the waiting list. Got a bench by 1230, so not bad. I ate my lunch, smoked a Henry Clay cigar while I waited. Life could be worse ;)
By 1400 no waiting list

Are they opening the gate earlier than a half hour before listed times? Prior to the pandemic I used to go real early (like 11am) and just take my time setting up and signing in.

I'm not sure when the gate opens but people were inside before 1100

Great! It was like that before the pandemic. I loved going early and just taking my time setting up.
The website posts that the gate will open half hour before scheduled times and will close half hour after closing times. I figured this was due to the pandemic. Maybe it was always posted like that but not enforced. Glad they don't enforce it. Seems like a tight window to park, get your shit and set up before 12:00.
I haven't found my way back to the range after all this virus shit started. Looking forward to visiting again, usually during the week.

I think that's only for the weekends. The gate should be open during\ weekdays because law enforcement uses the range all day.

I see. I started re-visiting the range after I retired last year. So I enjoy going during the week. It was like 30 something years ago when I used to go to the range with my friends on a weekend.
Now that you mentioned it, I do hear firing at the law enforcement side way before the 12:00 start for the public shooters. :shaka:

Is it still one person per table at the rifle side?
