Yet another poll on Gun Control about halfway down the Honolulu Star Advertiser's webpage: http://www.staradvertiser.com/ (http://www.staradvertiser.com/)
I could swear we just had one last month. I guess we won that one so they couldn't wait to put up another. Except now instead of a "yay or nay" two-choice type poll, they've split it into two pro-gun choices to almost ensure we lose. Anyway, let's hit this one as much as we can regardless. Thanks.
As of about 2:00 today:
What is the appropriate response to the Aurora, Colo., movie massacre shootings?
A. More restrictive gun laws (55%, 651 Votes)
C. No gun-law change (34%, 402 Votes)
B. Less restrictive gun laws (11%, 125 Votes)

i think we should post this on all gun boards we frequent and have some of our brothers and sisters help us out with the polling

Less restrictive is up to 20% now.

Thanks for pointing this out. Voted on and forwarded to others. :)

More restrictive is at 43% with 740 votes
No changes is at 31% at 535 votes
Less restrictive is at 26% with 442 votes
Total voters: 1714

26%! We're gaining ground~!

Not bad considering a thousand votes for either 'no change' or 'less gun control'.
Not surprising that the poll was designed to make 'more gun control' seem to win. One more reason to not buy Staradvertiser news papers.

Yup............if you look to maintain the status quo or go more lenient, then it's 57% pro-firearms and 43% anti-firearms. Pretty impressive in light of this following a much hyped event.

Closed already, didnt get to vote, already showed results.

I posted it on ar15.com and ar15news.com

It probably did. When i voted it was 22% and i checked a little while later and it was 26%. Pretty big jump in only an hour or so! I wonder if they cancelled it so they can air something about it on the 10 o'clock news

voted for less
we need CCW!

Until that "more gun control" percentage changes, we'll never see CCW.
