Noticed Costco has the 20 year shelf life food buckets back in stock here... Not the most complete food source, but for 66 bucks you cant go wrong buying a couple...

Good to add to your food supply for the beginner or the advanced prepper... ;)

Check it out. We have a couple stored!

Thrive is hit or miss.  They do have some good stuff, but a few I've tried were really bad.  I hated the mushrooms, milk, and the tvp bacon was basically bacoh bacon bits lol.  I prefer LDS Cannery milk which I lovingly refer to as "Mormon Milk"  O0  And it's waaay cheaper.  LDS stuff is as cheap as it gets.

As for the Emergency buckets from Costco, not a fan of those, either.  I bought a few and tried all of the meals, only a few were palatable for me.  They ALL need  seasoning and they come up way short on caloric needs.

Thanks for sharing your personnal experiences  I ended up ordering wise foods from Mojo.  Couldn't even find any of the buckets at the waipio Costco.

I've tried a few Wise Food meals, they were okay.  I thought maybe they were made by the same manufacturer as Mountain House, but I'm not so sure.

Consider trying Mountain House, if you haven't already.  Taste test the single/double meal packs from Sports Authority or get them discounted from REI, and free shipping if you're a member.  I couldn't live off em for months, but for short term, they rock.  Best I've tasted.  You can also score the #10 can sizes on Amazon with free shipping.

Gotta check the Costco stores.  From time to time they carry the buckets.  Hawaii Kai store had a couple pallets the day of the last tsunami warning.  I bet they sold out the next day.  ;)
