Guy needs to get riot glass or 3m security film.  It's like tint film that sticks to your windows, but much thicker and difficult to get through.

I was thinking about putting it on my plate glass windows for hurricane and burglary protection.

Curious why he said he's going to be out $30K.  No insurance? 

This reminds me if some of the Active Self Protection videos from overseas where thugs roll up on scooters or motorcycles, commit a crime, and ride off.  The helmets prevent positive ID even with video evidence.
