The scope mount keeps coming loose after about 1000 rnds. I put a little blue loctite on the threads before mounting the rail. But they still come loose, I'm thinking of using red loctite this time around. What's your thoughts on this?
The only problem is that the screws that come with the rails are rubbish and strip out after the 2nd time I attempt to remount them. Is there better quality screws out there? Every time I need new screws I need to buy a new rail kit. Is there some Allen head screws that will work?
Thanks folks

Ruger 10/22 target rifle
Weaver mount or leapers mount
Offset 1 piece scope mount
Mojji viper 3x12x40 scope

Don't feel bad. I mentioned an issue I have had with .22 mounts constantly coming loose no matter how much I tighten them. And I was laughed at here on this forum. It happens more often than most like to admit.
Where is the area that comes loose? Mount to dovetail? Scope to mount? Do things appear to stay tight but still move? Do you have a torque wrench with which you tighten your mounts with?

Thanks dex will do
Its the 4 mount points in the receiver. Wish I had a torque wrench to do a better job. The scope ring mount itself is solid no movement
