and one of your staff, not sure who, mentioned i could buy before i got my permit. i'm putting in for the permit on tuesday, so i wont have my permit for another couple of weeks, so i'm just wondering how this works.
So if I come in tomorrow to pay for it, you'll just hold onto it and i can pick it up whenever my permit gets in? is there anything i need to sign or bring in otherwise? will i be able to get a refund if i need to for whatever reason?
Just checking.

yes, it just goes in the armory with your name and phone on it until you pick it up with your long gun permit.
If you are denied for your permit or simply change your mind there is a 5% restock fee, unless you use the refund to make another purchase at OGC, then no fees at all. We are taking inventory off the shelf which cannot be sold anymore, therefore we do have whats called opportunity cost.

Nice choice. If I can sell my AR Im thinking of getting a sig 551a1. Since handguns must be held for 2 weeks after purchase i assume that they would hold the rifle in the same fashion, until you could return with your permit.

I went in to inquire about a Sig 516, and walked out with an LWRC M6A2
