In my enthusiasm, I realized I posted a dying method in the wrong thread. For those of you who want to try it out here's some tutorials. Its cheap and fun! I did a couple of PMAGs red a few years ago and they are holding up solid!

Never checked the link cause I'm on my phone but is that for polyester only or can you do metal too?

The material has to be a porous plastic. I've tried to dye some plastic gears but they were a bit too hard and the dye didn't penetrate well. Might try some lime green PMAGs or yellow ones.

You can only dye items a darker shade or color than what they already are. So anything black is sort of out of the question, unless you want to make it a darker black than it already is.
About a year ago I attempted to make a digital desert pattern on an FDE pmag. At a few feet it looks great, but up close you can see some seepage. I'm amazed at how clean and crisp some guys can make their patterns. After my little experiment, I decided I'd only rit dye items I wanted a different color or shade. Patterns are pretty time consuming. And like Ren said, it has to be porous plastic/polymer. Magpul products seem to be great for dying.

Darker yes, lighter no.
Guys have been dying the H&K USC/SL8 from gray to black for years. Then H&K released those models in black.

She didnt look too happy on Monday. Only once in awhile she had an outburst.
But it was nice of you to let everyone fondle her too! They all had smiles afterwards!
But she looked hot and bothered after. I could see the steam coming out of her!
