Me too. But I am glad they will do away with the appointments altogether.
I say this from a personal standpoint because I can see the appointment system being preferred by some, especially those who have to plan with employers to take the necessary time off.
But I'm retired so I can go whenever. ;D

What happened with 'The End of August' ? Is this now some 3 month purgatory between cant make an appointment and cant walk in?

It would make sense to do both, that way people can plan their days off or take a few hours. But then again, doing what makes sense isn't common for the firearms division.

I saw couple days ago that oct will be pre covid rules. Aug 10th will be stand in line to get a time slip for pta.
Saw that on hpd website or insta or twitter. My co worker showed me on his phone with the badge thingy on top left
Edit : i think i saw it somewhere on here too tho

I am disappointed, I would prefer to keep appointments with the option to walk in.

Wonder if they will change SOP to require in person to be vaxxed and show proof? I mean Blaizdell is requiring it for events. Most recently the job fair. Show proof of vaxx or neg test. So with people out of a job, they're already eliminating 40% of their applicants.

Took time off. Put on my request “exercising my constitutional rights”. I was hoping they would deny it or ask me what right and then deny.
