there were lifestraws at Cost co iwilei. under the pop-up tent. $39.97 for pack of four.

there were lifestraws at Cost co iwilei yesterday. Three packs. Only thing is that there were no price tags near.
Seemed to be a pallet.
sams club had on thursday
didn't see the price either, but there were only a few
might be on clearance, i got some last year for cheap

right now they have the Halloween costumes up. if you go down the main aisle towards the meat section, the lifsstraws will be on your right about one or two aisles after the costumes. I want to say it's near the coolers, tents, etc.
I may be going there today...so I will see if I can get a pic.

Not sure if lifestraws have improved, but last I know it does not filter out leptospirosis, a common bacteria in Hawaii water making it useless here. This would be more useful on the mainland.
For lepto, I got a grayl purifier which gets rid of everything, and a steripen that kills everything.

Dang you're right. Only their bigger filters are rated for lepto. So much for drinking straight from a puddle. I used one of those before on Kauai and did not get sick. Guess I was lucky.
