Maybe they are getting a good discounted price for buying in bulk... ;D

Thought this was an interesting read.

Buying up as much as they can before the election so everything is back order or out of stock.

thats a ton of ammo. wonder what the stats are on dhs personnel? how many people will get to divvy up all those bullets

Agencies under the DHS include:

US citizen and Immigration Services
US Customs and Border Protection
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement
Transportation Security Administration
US Coast Guard
US Secret Service
Federal Emergency Management Agency. 

With that said, I still don't know where they will use HP ammo... Maybe they use it for drug raids or on the boarder ???  I would think that it would be too expensive for just training purposes.  I'm still baffled.
