I welcome all who want to run for president. I doubt anyone has the base that Trump does. Assuming he is going to run. I think Trump will be too old in 2024. I would prefer Don Jr. run or even better someone like Ron DiSantis with the backing of Trump. I think that would make for a better administration.

I just don’t see Tulsi as a serious candidate. I know she is serious. But I don’t think she will garner much support. To me Pence is the only serious challenger to Trump if he decides to make a run. I know DiSantis and I forgot the other governor’s name as I am getting senile have both said if Trump runs they will not run against him. But who knows what is really going to happen? Everything is fluid until it’s not.

Ron would be a good choice. Apparently he values freedom (lack of FL lockdowns during Delta). Trump too valued freedom during Covid. At no point did he mandate vaxx, lockdowns, etc...Instead he left if up to each states government. Compared to Biden who wants OSHA to step in and military mandatory vaxx, federal property mask mandate, etc..
I like Tusli because she has the balls to say what's not supposed to be talked about, but she is very anti 2a. So that's a deal breaker. As in she signed to support each year the "Assault Weapon Ban" bill came about on the federal level. This was the 90 page bill that named every make and model So like Smith & Wesson M&P Sport II, Smith & Wesson M&P Sport, etc... The annual AWB bill does have a grandfather clause, but that isn't the point.

Ya, noted. I just got used to not hearing the talking heads whine every night about Drumpf. Not that I watch them, but even in the commercials. . .

Pence? You mean Judas? I don’t know why he thinks anyone will vote for him.

she's a flip flopper, fence walker, shit talker

The USA had really been "wrapped around the axle" when a anti-gun Tulsi seems like a good Republican
presidential candidate. Let her beat Hirono like a dead horse, Tulsi could probably have that job for life.
As for a good choice for a Republican candidate, I'll vote for the first guy that will rescind every Executive
order that has ever been written, on day one of Presidency, Fire every previously appointed person on day two.
and day three order the GSA to terminate all services contracts with any government facility except those
to related to Defense, Prisons, border enforcement , transportation, and National parks.
Then take a tour of wherever for a week or two with NO news people.
Then get to work.

How about a GABBARD -TRUMP ticket?
I could see Trump getting in as VP, and using the President as a screen from all the political crap while doing his thing to get the economy, border control and COVID problems solved.
I'm not holding my breath, but it would be a great tactic. Dems not voting for the "First Woman" as President would be a powerful issue, since they like to make demographics the only issue.
I'm still trying to figure out how the OLDEST, WHITEST MAN in history was elected by the largest number of votes in history by a party that always complains about OLD, WHITE MEN running the country. If Harris is the reason, then a Tulsi-[Any Old White Guy] ticket could be the winning combo.

It’s a shame she’s not pro 2a. Maybe that will change with Rittenhouse. I think a lot of people are reevaluating their security lately.
-
I would take her over most other Democrats and maybe even a few republicans. Not a huge gun rights supporter though, at least not publicl;y.

Tulsi and 2a? You mean Ms. “I’m a Weapons Expert from the Army”?

I will not vote for any Rebublican or Demoncrap, period. Incumbent? No more than two terms then they are done, no crossing house with senate. Once out can only run for president and/or VP. If candidate is good, will vote independent, if not will look at others listed like libertarian etc. Major selling point is 2a. If pro, will get my vote, if not 🖕🏻

I wonder if her words against guns were sort of a necessary statement for her to run as a democrat? Possible but I tend to believe she leans towards saying what she thinks.
Who knows, maybe her position is evolving to a more favorable one! ::fingers crossed:

She signed the bill. This is ontop her comments about assault rifles.
These are the worst types of politicians. She took an oath as a soldier to defend the constitution, then later breaks oath by supporting said bill.

I'm kind of hoping this as well.
Democrats hated inner city blacks and gay people up until about 10 years ago, so things change.
The way things are going she might be president soon, or in some high office.

I wouldn't say she is breaking her oath if she believes her interpretation of the constitution is correct. If she believes the 2nd amendment protects AR-15s then sure she is breaking her oath, but if she believes they do not qualify then she is upholding the constitution as she understands it.

So she can believe only muskets are allowed under the 2a?

Or maybe just bolt action, I don't know if she has ever gotten in depth as to where she draws the line.

Cosponsoring a ban on all semi auto rifles is very clear where she draws the line.

Then maybe that is the line she believes the 2nd amendment ends at.

If u think gun grabbers will stop at banning "assault rifles", u need to wake up.
300ish murders annually for all rifles (bolt action too) vs. 6,000 by handguns. Doesnt take a generous to figure out 2 steps ahead.

I am talking about people drawing lines in what they believe the 2nd amendment protects in relation to whether they are violating their oath.

She is violating her oath by banning rifles. Plain and simple.

If she believes it to be in violation of the 2nd amendment and does so anyway then sure.
On another note Tusli has tweeted out support for the Rittenhouse verdict! Better than your average liberal.

I’ve been seeing a lot of Tulsi shorts on my YT feed lately. Here’s one where she talks about the FBI using counter terrorism tools on parents that are concerned about what is being taught in schools.

Either way, in the last interview i saw of her , with Dave Rubin, she was asked if she might switch parties, she said she is a democrat. I just believe the democrat party has moved too far away from any common sense for her to align with.
