Title: Which COVID-19 Vaccine Have You Had OR Are Thinking Of Getting?
Post by: Flapp_Jackson on November 21, 2021, 06:21:49 PM
Many who avoided the COVID-19 vaccine are now leaning toward getting it or are being forced to get it.  This poll will hopefully help us choose which vaccine we might consider to be better/safer than the others.

If you OR a family member have been vaccinated with any number of doses, you can respond for either person.  If you have not yet been vaccinated, but have decided on one brand when you eventually get it, you may also respond.  If you have a family member who was vaccinated, you can respond for them instead of yourself.

If there were any complications, that would be good info to put in your comments.

Mahalo!

J&J vaccine back in April of this year.

I swear, ever since I took this vaccine, I have developed a chronic upper respiratory congestion complete with humongous amounts of phlegm.

The phlegm is clear but I am constantly hacking out that shit.  Constant.

But other than that I feel fine.  Just that f**kn hacking and coughing up of that shit.  People look at me warily whenever I'm at the grocery store and one time when dining at a Chinese restaurant a waitress ran into the kitchen screaming in terror.  ;) (I'm embellishing a bit, )

edited to add:  My wife took the vaccine with me back in April and just recently chose to get the booster at Longs.  She asked if we should schedule together but I declined.  I did encourage her to get it if she wants because she still works.  So she did.

My wife and I both got the J&J back in April.

She had moderate pain at the injection site for a day. Nothing after that.

I had a lot of pain at the injection site for a week along with moderate aches and pains and being run down for a week.

Same batch different reactions.

She will probably get the booster. I won’t.

I think I got a placebo. I got the J&J in March and had zero reaction.  Then I got he Moderna booster last month and no reaction.
