IMO, the buck stops with the armorer. Why would the buyers (LAPD cops) have reason to believe that the guns were stolen? Unless they knew said guns were stolen.
But at the same time, LAPD swtiching from Glocks to FN's, which is too dangerous for regular civilians to own in CA (not on approved list, thus too dangerous).

so the problem is from the same govt that regulates guns for us law-abiding citizens?! :grrr: Anyone thinks that this may be an "isolated" incident?

Reminds me of the "Gun Law Review" that Biden did after Sandy Hook. Obama wanted him to see if new laws could be enacted.
What Biden found was that there are so many laws now, most go unenforced due to scarce resources.
So, the answer to "too many laws" is to "make more unenforceable laws?" Seems like every time there's a new gun control law proposed, the powers that be forgot all about Joe's findings.

Can you post a credible source? I would like to use this info when our legislative session begins in Jan 22 and they promote more anti 2a laws.

During the National Rifle Association’s meeting with Vice President Joe Biden and the White House
gun violence task force, the vice president said the Obama administration does not have the time to
fully enforce existing gun laws.
Jim Baker, the NRA representative present at the meeting, recalled the vice president’s words during
an interview with The Daily Caller: “And to your point, Mr. Baker, regarding the lack of prosecutions
on lying on Form 4473s, we simply don’t have the time or manpower to prosecute everybody who lies
on a form, that checks a wrong box, that answers a question inaccurately.”
