if omicron is able to infect that much faster, yet cause far fewer hospitalizations and deaths, it could get us to the point where sars-cov2 becomes endemic
fauci came as close to admitting he may be wrong as he has in the past 23 months...

Interesting thought. But I am afraid as we continue with new variants coming and going that as the effectiveness of the virus wanes, they will release a new variant or a new virus to take its place. JMHO

And instead of people getting accurate info, they will rely on the corrupt media/health organizations recommendations. Which at least is a CYA get vaxxed and do X, Y, and Z. Then enter fact checkers.

The opinions I recall was that that was the case for the mutations observed early on. Virus able to spread easier/faster, but less severe. So seems consistent with that.

Had dinner with friends over the weekend. One is a PhD type in virology/immunology (but works on other stuffs). Anyways, she mentioned that her colleagues had noted that, but that information was "peer reviewed" out. . .
What do your twitter gurus say why they skipped some Greek alphabet letters? 8)

You must not watch CNN, MSNBC, etc. Leftist zombies attack people with as little as half a brain daily.

When the stock market crashes and everyone is forced to admit this is the Great Depression 2.0 then nobody will care about the Wu Flu any more

“If you’re feeling sick, stay home,” said Dr. Thomas Lee, University of Hawaii public health professor. “We really don’t want to spread any type of virus, whether it be the flu, influenza or COVID.”
“We may see more transmission, even among vaccinated people, and re-infection may be more common with this variant,” Dr. Kemble continued.
She said vaccinated people have confidence in the vaccines and may be doing more at-risk behaviors, which could lead to exposure. The DOH encourages all residents, including the vaccinated, to get tested before events like family gatherings.
There is no end to the madness.

Yeah, I’m not doing any of that. Sounds like a good way to get screwed out of two weeks of pay for no benefit. Everyone is going to catch it anyway.

That's where I'm at. I might miss two weeks of surfing because of a false positive. Plus a lot of the testing companies are selling DNA profiles to China.

Nope, the plan is to keep the variant bullshit going so we can all stay safe and vote from home again. Burn those masks, stop wearing them

I was going to add, "But remember to take them off first (before burning)." Then I thought, maybe if they have to be told, we should just leave it at that.
I love it when the trash takes itself out. :geekdanc:

We already had a way out, but it was inexpensive so they banned it.

Why should I believe an article written by an anonymous source that chooses to hide their identity?
Never trust. Always trust Dr. Josh Green only.

Wait! Wait! Wait! So, we are supposed to believe you, "some anonymous guy" on a gun forum, when it comes to being told what COVID information is true or false, but a documented study that you didn't take the time to even read is not to be believed?

Why not actually read the information posted and CLICK THE F**KING LINKS. They take you to the real life authors' names, the pre-printed research report, etc.
None of the rreports' authors is anonymous.
Nobody is hiding their identity -- except you.

At least contact your primary care physician first and find out what they have to say.
From the NIH (Yeah, a government agency, so you can trust them):
Interpretation: Ivermectin treatment was associated with lower mortality during treatment
of COVID-19, especially in patients with severe pulmonary involvement.

Considering the FDA has been caught lying several times during the pandemic in regards to COVID-19 I certainly would not trust them either.

Why are you indulging that strawberry faced retard with a response? Was the forum not shitted up enough?

This is not the droid strawberry faced retard we were shunning.
We haven't had to start the formal shunning of the new guy yet.

south africa data
4 weeks into omicron, 1.9% of positives are hospitalized
and many more weren't tested because symptoms are much milder, so this stat is likely much lower in reality
4 weeks into delta 19-20% of cases were hospitalized
