My old building, there was a tenant who used an old artillery shell (deactivated) to hold his front door open.  Well another neighbor saw and called 911. Instead of him just showing it to HPD, they decided for him not to touch it at all,evacuate all apartment units,  and send the bomb squad.  Then the bomb squad verified the shell (head) wasn't active.
