Seems like that would have been a more productive message from DAY ONE!.
The political BS engulfing the information about COVID has been nonstop and counterproductive. All of it was designed to get Trump out of office. Now that's he's out, it's taken almost a year for the CDC, Biden's WH, and the rest of these clowns to start seeing the light of truth,
Shameful jerks. I wonder how many people died over their petty games.
It can also be helpful to accept what you cannot change. We live in a world where
an extremely infectious virus rapidly spreads through communities.

There are countless people out there that refuse to even explore the premise that this virus was handled with underlying agendas in mind.
It was about control, and yes, to put the blame on a sitting POTUS that they wanted to get out of office.
Public safety was second. "They" saw an opportunity to influence the public mindset using fear. It's been done before (climate change, rogue foreign leaders, financial instability, etc.)
Hope people now strive to seek truth instead of just "trusting" what is said by supposedly people of integrity. Are you listening Fauci? I'm using you as an example. Don't feel bad, there are thousands and thousands just like you. In gov't. In media. In the medical and science fields and financial institutions.
Moving goalposts seem to be the new fashionable thing to do nowadays. Sad.

Trump was briefed on what he said publicly by the "experts." If what he said was wrong, that's not a lie. That's incompetence on the part of the people providing him the information.
Trump put himself out there to give people a sense that someone was leading the effort. So far, I've seen no leadership at all under Biden.
