Movie on Netflix tell me if this is not our current government and seriously I feel like this is close to fact then Sci fi. Am I'm wrong? I mean not the comet thing but how it was handled and everything else
-
I haven't watched it yet but it sounds interesting. Is it commentary on the left, the right, or both?
-
The movie uses exaggeration and extreme ridiculousness to make fun of the Left, Right, Fauci, Hillary and so many, many others.
There were few scenes where I wasn't wishing I could reach into the TV and slap someone repeatedly!
If you want to see it before having the surprises ruined, don't watch the Tim Pool video. The trailer just gives you a peek at the amount of frustration with not just government, but the media and their followers in general.

Long time no see.
Welcome back.
Out on "Good Behavior" ?
I watched this the other night.
I too thought it was more of an "incognito" documentary of our current administration and the woke crowd.
Different angle on a script.
Worth the watch.
Netflix's "Stuck Together" is another pretty good one regarding covid lock downs.

i cannot see how it would make fun of the left if leo decaprio and meryl streep are in it
i guess i have to watch it...
-
All those actors are poster children for everything liberal.

I thought OP was talking about getting a gummer and from her POV...
-
Did not see that coming.
It’s a interesting level mix of commentary.
And entertaining.
Edit:
DirtyL in da House !

I imagine their compensation contributed more to the decision than their dislike for any part of the story! :geekdanc:

Hmm. It's been a while since I had some volcanic wings. Might have to swing by tomorrow.
As far as the movie goes---
It's confusing because it's an unintentional liberal self-own.
The theme was based around blaming a metaphorical world ending scenario (climate change) on republicans, with the president being a female version of Trump and Jonah Hill playing Donald Jr.
Somewhere along the way the audience can't help think of the pandemic response with scientists screaming out warnings and getting shut down by sociopathic social media giants working with a criminally incompetent government
Hollywood's head is so far up their own power okole that they are actually starting to see daylight.
I didn't know that was possible but here we are.
