You should go to the shop and inspect the item, today if possible.  Most sellers offer a 3 day return window (give or take a couple of days) after receipt from the shipper to notify them of any problems.  If the item is not what you expected, you can return it for a refund.  If you wait too long, they may refuse a refund based on that policy.

I know they need at least a day or two to log the weapon into inventory, transfer it to the store officially, and register it with HPD.  They are closed Wednesdays, so if your package arrived then, I doubt anything was done with it until Thursday or Friday.

Also, if the seller didn't properly mark the package with your name and contact info, OGC may not know it's your transfer and set it behind the others they know are transfers.  It happens.  If they told you on the phone they have your transfer item, then this should not be an issue.

I wouldn't wait.  Go check the gun out, make sure it's what you ordered, and then see whether they can make it ready for pickup while you wait.  If they aren't too busy, you could inspect it and pick it up in one trip.

Bring the tracking number for the shipment. OGC has been quite busy with new shipments coming in as a result of recommendations from 2ahawaii members. They are open 5 days of the week, including Saturday, and they're off on Wednesday. Brad has to deliver permit paperwork to HPD on Tuesday morning, so the store opens at 10 AM on that day. If I have not received a phone call after the 2nd day of a package's arrival, I will bring my fat butt into the store on the 3rd day. This is Hawaii, so businesses gotta be ready for customers like me who say, wassup, bradduh?

OGC say they take about 4 days after they receive it. They told me it would be ready on the 4th day, but they stress they will call you when it is ready. They called me on the 5th day and said they forgot to do it the day before. I've since used J. Hara, Danger Close Tactical, and bought from FirearmsInternation.biz. They have all been prompt and great to work with. Side note, Firearms international will do free FFL transfers for existing customers.

I have had a couple of delayed "it's here" calls from OGC.  The first time wan't a big deal.  I just showed up the day after my carrier's tracking said it was delivered so I didn't lose my 3-day inspection rights.

The second time, I told them I wasn't happy -- that it's becoming a habit.  They did the transfer and didn't charge me for it.  I think the next time I went back for a transfer, they didn't charge for that one, either.  I may have purchased a case of ammo to go with the gun at check out.

Being a long time customer definitely helps.  If they know you don't usually complain about the little stuff, when you do complain they take notice.

Yeah I finally got my stuff on Monday,  I did see behind the counter a ton of other ffl stuff on the floor so I guess they were really busy.  I will probably try another ffl next time
