Title: M1a Scope mount

I am considering mounting a scope on  my Springfield standard M1a.  I would like to hear about your experience on different scope mounts.  Any recomendations.  Would be appreciated.

I don't own a Springfield M1A, opting to jump a generation and a half with a Bula M21. But this is one of the best guides I bookmarked for installing a scope rail on the M1A. The presenter focused on 600 yd setup.

I'm worried about shell hitting the mount during ejection.
