this will be a list of trigger pulls that I have done on my Lyman trigger pull gauge
or what others have done on their trigger pull gauge. if you did any testing on your gauge, just post it and I'll add it to the OP
I wanted to list some real world numbers and not something listed by the manufacturer, something that I have done personally or that others have done themselves
trigger pull weight isn't everything in a trigger, but it's an objective measurement of how a trigger performs. there are other factors of a trigger, but this thread will only be about the weight
my method is the average of 5 pulls

Added more to the list
What was surprising was the PSA AR trigger. It got average pull of 3 lbs 3.6 oz. Feels good too. And was only $80

What device was used to weigh the triggers? I've only seen weights used in matches - no fish scale or luggage type gauges. I read those are inaccurate.

Tested the Rise Armament 140 DTOM trigger today in 1 of my AR's
It is great!
2 lbs 3 oz, no take up. Once I put a little squeeze on it.....bang! And really short reset. Results in great accuracy
Wow. Best $99 AR trigger upgrade

Updated with PSA single stage match trigger 2 lbs 3.9 oz
No take up, short break, short reset, crisp. Really good AR trigger
Feels like the Rise Armament 140 trigger.
Got the PSA trigger on sale for 89 bucks. RA 140 was on sale for 99 bucks. So 10 bucks cheaper for the PSA. The RA looks better tho. But they function about the same, IMO

Ruger Vaquero 44 magnum and 45acp data added. Both in the 3 lbs range. Great triggers

the RRA "NM" trigger should be at least 4.5 lbs I had one years ago. Tuned by White Oak

I went through the same process last year and just brought my shipping receipt and a screenshot of the tracking showing it was delivered. Worked fine and the clerk accepted it.
