Title: CCW Permit

I think HPD should have a mandatory quota for CCW Permit application approval. That would be a great start for Hawaii.

Sure, but that just means that regular citizens will get their ccw permit after HPD family, celebrities, politicians, HPD friends, family in different states, dead family, pets, and then dead pets.

You're getting closer, but no cigar.

Hawaii needs to stop the "May Issue" BS and become "Shall Issue," like most other states that do it correctly.

Those who are demonstrably unfit should be DISAPPROVED.  EVERYONE ELSE should automatically be issued a permit.

it's a right -- no approval is needed.

Giving the state, the police chiefs, or whoever the power to deny a permit without cause keeps us exactly where we are.
