So a St Louis high school senior got killed last night. He and a friend was parked up Round Top lookout when a 19 year old tried to rob them at gun point. The 18 year old pulled out his own gun and got shot in da stomach and died. So gut shot fatal reaffirms my technique of 2 in da guts and one to da boto. Gotta shoot low in case dey stay wear body armor lidat.
Since you gotta be 21 and older fo own one handgun, how dis kids wen gettum?

Article says people are wondering if our gun laws are strict enough. Assholes. Da guy being a 19 yo, broke at least 5 gun laws. What more gun laws you gonna make? I get one, anyone 21 and over without a felony can CC a firearm for protection.

Dis morning news said da 19 YO dat wen kill da 18 YO, both his mahda an fadda HPD officers. Wat wud happen if he wen use one of dey guns fo commit da murder? Nosy peopo lik kno.

According to at least one on this forum, laws are a deterrent. Those who intentionally break the law will research the laws, penalties and consequences. Only then will they choose to commit the crime or not. If the penalty is a felony, fewer will opt to break that law.
Kind of flies in the faces of all those lawbreakers who swore they didn't know what they did was illegal, huh?
I suppose the Cop's kid who happened to have a gun was just watching the city lights with a friend? Nothing illegal going on, like a drug deal gone bad?
Inquiring minds ....

MORE has to be done.
Forget that these teens broke laws....they need more laws to be broken and they need more laws to keep us honest, law-abiding citizens in check

Even with the state's current gun laws, new measures were introduced this legislative session. Some lawmakers call for more frequent licensing renewals, as well as keeping guns out of the hands of those with concerning mental health issues. Lee also wants to lessen the danger once illegal guns end up in the wrong hands.
"For those who should not have access to firearms, we have to be able to track black market weapons and see how they got into the wrong hands. We want to ensure that even if you are able to acquire a firearm illegally, you are not legally able to buy ammunition for it," added Lee.
There are also concerns about ghost guns in the islands, which are pieces that can be put together to make a working gun. Ghost guns have no serial number or registration and are difficult to track. There is also talk, at the state and national level, to limit ghost guns.

"We want to ensure that even if you are able to acquire a firearm illegally, you are not legally able to buy ammunition for it,"
Look for this to happen, not only here but in any state with gun registration.
If it isn't registered you can't buy ammo.
>:D

About 2 years ago, they tried to pass a law that you cannot buy ammo for a gun that you don't own.
-
IIRC, the People's Republic of California recently tried to make buying ammo require registration.
A "cooling off" period is coming soon. They will never stop until we get the rock and roll going.

I notice the news articles and broadcasts never mention his parents are both HPD officers. It came out briefly in the very beginning. I wonder if HPD told the news stations not to say that, cause make ass.
