It's hard to know what's really going on in China thanks to the digital great wall that google helped them set up, but the evidence would seem to indicate a popular revolt is going down.

The good news is they have fewer resources to interfere with our political system, but that also means we could be completely shut off from their products fairly soon.

Western financial institutions such as investment banks, and hedge funds like Black Rock are at risk of losing billions.
Foreign investors will be the last ones in line to get any money back. The CCP will see to that.
We foolishly do business with crooks and hope nothing goes wrong.

wow, tanks with white sidewalls.  must be the parade tanks, straight out of the 50's.  missing the racoon tail on the antenna, though.  couldn't tell if they had the fuzzy dice hanging on the rear-view mirror.

Fake.  The tanks were in town for some kind of military ceremony or exercise hence they were missing equipment, unit markings, etc.  the building in the background is a hotel and not a bank.  There has been some unrest due to the mortgage crisis.  Remember the CCP will just spray you with 7.62 from a RPK  rather than waste the diesel for a tank.
