The Hawaiian Kingdom was not a race based empire. It was/is a multiracial constitutional monarchy that had much more freedoms than the US republic during the same time period.
In order to have a comprehensive discussion on this topic, I think you need to study the constitutions of the Hawaiian Kingdom and double check what information that has been told to you about its history. I think you will be amazed to see what the Hawaiian nation was able to achieve by being a neutral country in the Pacific. :shaka:

Before slavery was outlawed in America, it would be reasonable for those persons affected to do whatever it is necessary to seek redress, and in the case of slavery, reverse the legality of that inhumane institution.
Hence, the illegal occupation of Hawaii is ongoing situation that Hawaiians are working to have America honor its Constitutional law and de-occupy Hawaii.
There is no statute of limitations regarding violations of US Constitutional law.
