Not that far from U Puget Sound.  I recall the Hilltop area was quite "Boyz in the Hood" back when I lived in WA.

I lived in the Puget sound area 20+ plus years and remember when some Ft. Lewis GI's that lived in Hilltop
"Borrowed" some M16's from the fort.  They surprised the hell of some drive by gangbangers.
Nobody was killed but plenty of excitement.

IIRC the GIs got slaps on the wrist and the Hilltop area really quieted down after that.
