It's all symbolic. Someone started an online petition and got the requisite signatures. Really no big deal...

...but it wouldn't surprise me if a state or two decided to pass a resolution asking Mr. Obama to peacefully secede.

Texas has 113,000 signatures, and Hawaii has over 3k. lol
