Maybe if Biden hadn't funneled billions to Ukraine and destroyed our economy, we could afford huge increases for SS and MC.
When you hear, "Republicans want to cut" anything in the budget, it usually means, "They want to reduce the SIZE OF THE PROPOSED INCREASE," Dems are pushing.
Only a Democrat can lie about a smaller increase in spending and call it a "cut."

Soc Security and Medicare are those "3rd rail" issues most politicians avoid like the plague -- touching it can zap a career in an instant.
The only time it's in the press is when some Dem is lying about some Repub wanting to "gut" the program.
Fear. It's always in vogue when the Dems are about to lose at the polls.

How about a few years of 8% DEFLATION?
There is no reason my home has increased in value 500%( roughly).
in 22 years. it needs work! My home is not an investment, it is a place to live.
I think Jewish and Moslem people are right about Usury in their communities.
The Secular world should take at look at their systems.
Profit sharing is a much better way to integrate a society.
eg I profit if you profit and I lose if you lose.
