Title: Home Made Trigger Gauge
Post by: wirecounter on November 14, 2012, 08:53:37 PM
So I wanted a trigger gauge, but was too cheap to spend $30 to $50 for something I would only occassionally use.  I did a search on the internet (gotta love it!) and found the attached.

I made it yesterday and it works great.  Although I needed to tape some lead weights to the bottle since the trigger pull on my stock Remington 700P was 4 - 1/2 pounds.  I used a postal scale to weigh the water poured into the bottle (poured into another container with the scaled zeroed with it).

Okay, so it doesn't look like I can attached the pdf file.  Attached are pics of the one I made.  Original post is from this thread http://rimfireshooting.com/index.php?showtopic=8492 (http://rimfireshooting.com/index.php?showtopic=8492)
