i wouldnt be surprised either, i would be surprised if they were automatically failed. and if they were, i would want to know who the instructor was so i can sign up for their class.

Unfortunately, Hawaii law is clear (first time for everything :crazy:.)
If they pass the written test and the proficiency, they pass.
