Top 10 worst states to move to:
01 - Louisiana
02 - Alabama
03 - New Mexico
04 - Mississippi
05 - West Virginia
06 - Alaska
07 - Arkansas
08 - Kentucky
09 - Oklahoma
10 - Texas
A few of these states would be great if you're a self-sufficient prepper and not looking for a good paying job.

They all have unique things that offset some of the negatives, like the BBQ in Mississippi.
The list takes a bunch of the channel's research into account, like employment, good paying jobs vs. minimum wage, housing costs, taxes, crime (violent vs. other), healthcare, cost of living, weather, etc., etc.
If you're moving to Kentucky just because of their distilleries -- and as a consumer, not a producer :geekdanc: -- I wish you luck. :shaka:

The opinions in the video use objective research results and stats along with subjective weighting of each to give an aggregated overall assessment.
Yes, it's opinion, but it's also based on data and comparisons.
For example, they have videos on some of the cheapest places to live, but that usually means lower employment, less demand for goods and services, higher crime and infrastructure problems.
Watch enough of the lists, and you'll see a lot of overlap where one state might be in the top/bottom of several lists.
iI you're looking for a specific criteria to base your relocation choices on, they have more videos for those. Such as, the Whitest states, Blackest states, most Asian states, etc. Whatever defines your preferred locale, you can probably find the lists that tell you which ones are best/worst.
I've been going through the videos off and on for a week or more. They do a lot of work to compile their lists. I just wish they had more variety in their productions. About half the segments are "stock footage" and used in many, many videos.
