Title: ***FIRE MISSION*** SB33 Testimony due before 2/9 @ 10am

Hearing is on 2/10 at 10am

"No person shall sell ammunition or shell casings for any firearm unless the purchaser first demonstrates that the purchaser:

     (1)  Is the registered owner of the firearm for which the ammunition or shell casings are to be purchased; or

     (2)  Has been designated by the registered owner of the firearm as the alternate for ammunition purchases on the registration pursuant to section 134-3."

Didn't this (or similar) measure come up previously?  I recall being at one testimony in person.

Yes, we both were there. So was the owner of 808GC and the film industry rep (in Ed Hardy type clothing and shades).

I submitted testimony.
Perhaps I should have sent in a picture of the deadly bamboo sticks that grow out of the ground too.
They might want to consider regulating bamboo sticks too.

177 oppose it

HPD opposed cause they have no way to run a background check for ammo.  Like how HPD tried to use the FBI to run background checks on taser sellers and was told no. 

Not many copy/paste testimonies.  The anti 2a are learning from their mistakes.

I'd wager the vast majority of guns in Hawaii are not registered.
Kind of like drugs, pass all the laws you want ,but freedom will
prevail in America. People will do as they please despite whatever
regimentation you try to impose. Americans by nature do not like
conformity.  I guess that is why Asian cultures and American culture
clash so much.
