Title: Face masks?

Published by Cochrane Library, the review dug into the findings of 78 randomized controlled trials to determine whether "physical interventions" — including face masks and hand-washing — lessened the spread of respiratory viruses.

A new scientific review suggests that widespread masking may have done little to nothing to curb the transmission of COVID.

When comparing the use of medical/surgical masks to wearing no masks, the review found that "wearing a mask may make little to no difference in how many people caught a flu-like illness/COVID-like illness (nine studies; 276,917 people); and probably makes little or no difference in how many people have flu/COVID confirmed by a laboratory test (six studies; 13,919 people)."

Face diapers were always a sign of blind obeisance to the government.
A liberal trademark these days, and an easy way to spot them in the wild.

Effectiveness did not matter, virtue signaling as a democrat government faithful subject did matter.

Too bad many people feel like you do.

Some people have a valid medical reason for wearing a mask in public. But, with the politicization of the mask mandates, now it's become a "sign" of Left Wing virtue signaling, etc.

If we are going to follow the science, then we need to follow all the science -- and that includes the fact that masks existed long before the pandemic and have a place in health and safety.

i'm really tired of the us versus them BS, especially coming from people who I know believe in individual liberty to do what they want.

There was a Babylon Bee article saying a study finds the reason many people still wear masks is because they perceive themselves as ugly.  (SATIRE)

https://babylonbee.com/news/study-finds-anyone-still-wearing-a-mask-is-probably-super-ugly/

Now, lo and behold, the Daily Mail published a story saying the study is real.

EXCLUSIVE: Unattractive people are MORE likely to keep
wearing face masks in post-Covid era, study suggests

Here's the linked study itself:

Amazing! It's hard to poke fun at the world when the world takes every satirical story as a challenge.

i have read they still wear the useless diaper so no one will mistake them for conservatives..
As ugly as liberals usually are, could go either way.
