In Minnesota they have a big mall and lakes and that's about it.
It looks like everybody there were having fun.

When Hawaii people go on vacation, they do similar touristy activities.
My cousin is touring Europe now.
They just sent all the classicic tourist photos of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Colosseum, Sistine Chapel, etc.
Same thing.

I would expect Minn is known for massive skeeters as well as Somalis.

My retired olde fart mini-vacations to my tiny house in Arizona are focused on shooting and Mexican food.

Will do the tourist thing to Grand Canyon someday. 
Sedona was nice, but too many tourists.  Expect GC to be more of the same.
