Will you shoot rifle or handgun when Kokohead re-opens?
-
I haven't shot my 44 magnums since it closed so I plan to shoot that
-
Both. Probably more rifle than pistol though.
Have a pistol course coming up end of May, but the 25 yard range won't "help" for that.
Since the range shut down, I was able to get more primers, powder, and boolits for loading 6.5 creedmoor. My work schedule has improved, so plan on gearing up for that. Was in the inital barrel speed up phase for one rifle when the range shutdown, so will likely get back to shooting that one.

Nothing. I’m over it. It’s going to be a shit show just like permits were.

pistol
handgun skill is more perishable than rifle skill

I agree--I'll probably wait a while two see how everything pans out.

I plan to shoot both too, but I'm really itching to shoot my 44mags. Indoor range the ammo was too dam expensive and cannot shoot reloads indoor. I reloaded a bunch of 44 and 357. I hope can still shoot handgun on rifle side with optic so I might do that too. I havent shot rifle until today so I like shoot that too. I'm fricken really bummed no more steel targets, that significantly diminishes the fun factor. Thar really sucks!!!

I just bought a redhawk in 44mag. Definitely shooting pistol. Cant wait to feel the BOOM!

You made a very good choice.
-
So far the poll shows more people interested in shooting handgun.
I believe there are only 18 stalls...... :(

At one time I was interested in picking up a Ruger Alaskan......

I still need to sight in the new optic for my carbine that arrived just after the shutdown. Don’t want to waste too much ammo when the zombie apocalypse starts.

Very true. I didn't shoot any rifle for over six months, then I saw 2 pigs in my backyard. I grabbed my AR15 and went outside. Saw them 100 ft away. Shot the first one and the 2nd took off. I fired a shot at it and thought I missed. 3 days later I find it by the smell and sound of flies. Patted myself on the back and said this 73 year old still got it. ;D. I do shoot handguns several times a week. One of the benefits of living in a very rural area. Just walk out into the yard and fire away.

Nope, not the bullseye range.

It's the latest craze.
It'll make a man out of you...or something like that

you'll lose the tip before it makes it to the target.

I'm hoping that more people feel this way...

I'll scratch my shooting itch on vacation. No reason for me to fight to steal a slot from guys who are prisoners here.

Took me a bit to pickup in the humor.
I won't ever shoot at your range, but
will blast away in mine.
In WA state.
I just take very long vacations here these days.

Im planning to shoot in Vegas during two trips in May,
with the NEW RULES going into effect, going to wait till the CITY changes them OR i just will go with plan "B" that's been working fine for me.
Good Luck!

Rifle. Brought a few Varmint rifles with me when I moved back in 2016 so it’s time to shoot up what ammo I’ve loaded and sell some stuff. With hip and eye problems now I don’t feel much like traveling back to NV to chase varmints.
