broken english
wants to pay by cashier's check
unfamiliarity with hawaii laws
wants it shipped to san diego
has "a friend" in hawaii that will obtain item
still waiting to hear from others...

Also, the user was on a buying spree, responding to many more WTS ads than seemed reasonable.

The one WTB ad he replied to was asking for a Mini-14 by The_Rookie.

This was the biggest red flag in my mind.  He was showing interest in firearms, accessories and non-firearm-related items all at once, as if he wanted to clear out the forum's classifieds single-handedly.  And he wasn't here for the discussions.  All his posts were in the classified section.

Hope nobody here was taken for a ride.

That guy's okay, he gave me a really good deal on a bridge in New Mexico, I got a photograph of it and bill of sale, nice guy.

Great news! Now I can buy that old bridge in Brooklyn he’s been selling and I’ve always wanted!  :crazy:
