Title: Gunsmith for Colt 1911

Aloha, does anyone know of a reputable gunsmith in Honolulu that has experience with an original Colt 1911 A1, 45 ACP? If not in Honolulu, any reputable shops on the mainland? Thanks in advance..

I've used KC https://kcskustomcreations.com/about-me/ (https://kcskustomcreations.com/about-me/) and Dave Salyer on the mainland.
Ed Masaki was the last 1911 smith. There are a few others but they are not full time.

Thanks, ren. I just learned that Ed Masaki passed away late last year. I actually had him working on my 1911 but he unfortunately never finished and I’m looking for someone to pick up where he left off.
