Aaron Cowan has a couple of videos on his Patreon site and seems impressive.  Last video I saw was it passed the 2k mark.  He will be doing the "duty rig" tests soon, including drop tests.  He's been cautioning that the optic is marketed and geared toward competition, but has gotten a lot of requests for the same tests as for duty configurations, as well as he seems interested in putting it through his testing procedures. 

Have seen them become available here and there.  ANR had some and sold super quick.  I'm not in a market for new RDS.  Eyeing release of a new enclosed emitter one later this summer though.
