I remember when game shows were about the game.  Who hosted it was only an issue if they were terrible at the job.

If Seacrest can refrain from ad libbing cringe-worthy one-liners, he'll be okay. 

Change is inevitable.  I'm seriously surprised Pat remained on the show this long. 

One site says Pat makes $14M per year in "salary", and his endeavors listed are:  "Game Show Host, Talk show host, Actor, Radio personality, Film Producer, Television producer".

His net worth is reportedly $75M.
