Most stores don't want to put any signs, for or against, on any divisive subject as they can lose sales on one side.

They're also concerned about liability due to signage if there's an incident.  Either for or against.

Seems to me  "LTC WELCOME" or something that stresses Concealed Legally Carried Welcome would be more truthful than "Guns Allowed/Welcome"

The comments under that poll are typical of college kids and Liberals with no idea what they are blabbing about.

Imagined scenarios that rarely happen if ever, calling Pro-2A "pro- death", etc.

I'd like to take a poll of how many mass shooting victims in gun-free zones would have preferred to be armed at that moment in time.  I'm sure the dead victims would be less likely to see an up side to gun control laws.

I think that most people who are against guns are projecting their lack of self-discipline. Those that own guns see them as merely a tool.

I just happened to read this past Sunday Star Advertiser gun law article in section B.  The City mentioned that 1500 requests for "guns allowed" signs has come in so far.

edited to add:  Not sure if it was a typo but it was interesting to note.

The poll will be used in their defense of the lawsuit. They already did for another poll when trying to get the judge not to issue the TRO.

Of course they left the poll out that 63% said issue ccws.

Just the the AG, selective info being presented. And a corrupt judge will use this to justify their anti 2a rulings.

I double triple oooper checked the article again and as usual, I read it wrong.  The article said that the City issued 1700 "guns allowed" signs to several satellite City Halls throughout Oahu.  And that they are not sure how much were actually requested.

As usual I speed read and got the whole thing convoluted in my mind.  Nothing to see here.

Unfortunately, a sign like that wouldn’t be sufficient under current City and County of Honolulu ordinance.

Nothing wrong with putting up a sign if you don't allow firearms on your property.

Making me have to put up a sign promoting my approval of a constitutional right (2a) on my property is a violation of the first amendment (forced speech).
Nothing wrong with putting up a sign if you don't allow firearms on your property.
The stated argured making someone deny the right is forced speech.

It's their way of gloating and telling everyone who has the hammer.  Telling those who believe in 2a rights that they don't give a shit.

Hawaii's lawmakers and leaders like Governor Greed and Macho Blangiardi have consistently shown that they are willing to violate their oath of office to uphold and protect the constitution to favor instead  their unconstitutional agendas, bowing to the the anti-gun advocates with their ass cheeks spread.

Total banana republik dick-tatorship.  The majority of Hawaii's people refuse to change and want to live this way.  They don't realize what is in their future.  And the future of their children.

The price of messing with the Supreme Court is that they can decide to open the floodgates of freedom

Hawaii and the other states trying to make an end run around the constitution are extremely short sighted.
