Hi all. I moved out here a few months ago. I'm planning to go to Koko Head soon to go shooting rifle/pistol. I know there are a few local shops around here. I wanted to ask what your favorite local gun shops are for ammo and targets. I may just end up ordering targets online (Amazon), but getting ammo out here might seem expensive.
Are there any local gun shops with reasonable prices and stock for 9mm or 5.56?
Are there any reputable online stores that will ship ammo to Hawaii without charging an arm and a leg?

Majority of the people here don't ship ammo due to the cost for various fees. U would have to buy an entire pallets worth of ammo.
IMO, I rather support stores that support the 2a cause because we see more and more anti gun bills every year.
Danger Close Tactical for ammo, IDK what kind of targets he has.
Young Guns for both.
Security Equipment for both, although they don't do anything for the cause, but they have HPD contracts, so they got a better reason than the others. Don't want to bite the hand that feeds you. They usually have good prices consistently
No one will ship ammo to HI if you're just buying boxes or even a few cases.

You will soon find Hawaii's firearm laws almost mirror what the New Mexico Govenor just tried to invoke.
Hawaii have CC permits? yes. Is everyplace that has oxygen listed as a gun free zone? yes.

gun show is 9/30-10/1
usually has some ammo sales, gun sales, and has several gun shops that will have tables there. Security Equipment corp. usually brings a lot of ammo there
